Holiday Gifts for my Students

December 15, 2013 By Ashley Schroeder

Are you looking for a simple student gift for your kiddos this year?
student gifts, snowman soup, christmas gifts, gifts from teacher to student
I’m linking up with the fabulous Stephanie at 3rd Grade Thoughts for her Ho-Ho-Holiday Gifts for your Students Linky!!
I put together my gifts for my students – main ingredient: sugar – which goes along perfectly with our Polar Express Palooza activities coming up on Wednesday 🙂

This year, they’ll be getting snowman soup, which is hiding in these festive ziploc bags I found at Michael’s!

Inside, I’ve added:
 –  hot cocoa
– marshmallows
– chocolate chips
– candy cane (the stirring stick!)
After I filled the bags, I decided I’d write a little poem to be the label/card on the outside.
Here’s what I came up with! :
I used Krista Wallden Christmas Frames and Rowdy in Room 300 Fonts! 🙂
As I got started with my poem labels, I addressed it generically to “boys and girls”,  but I ended up adding individual student names to each label to make it personalized for each of them this year!
I then wrote a little poem to explain their gift, too!
If you’d like to grab your own snowman soup for your kiddos, you can click the image below to grab yours today!

You also might want to save yourself some time on that last day before break as you scramble to write thank you cards to your kiddos for the treats they bring you! You can also snag my holiday thank you cards while you’re doing some last minute shopping, too!
